I am adding this little pooch to my blog as I had forgotten all about him.

This was one of my early attempts with the Spectrum Noir Browns on the Neenah card  from Crafters Companion.  I didn't like it at the time due to the bleeding, but having looked at it again, it made me chuckle.

My New Beginnings

Well it has been a while since I last updated my blog...
I have been practicing and watching create n craft tv picking up on various hints tips n techniques ....

I still struggle with bringing it all together.

But I have had a go at a couple of the themes as stated on the Challenges (But without submitting them)

Firstly - Pink and Green
Secondly - Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow

I will upload them shortly.

This is a new beginning for me..

No hogging the blog
No bombarding the uploads..
No rushing in without being prepared..

This is it!

Easy does it ........ Patience!  Is a virtue....  I am getting it.....  Slowly x

My First Official Creation

Here I am again... Updating my blog...
How long does it take before it becomes a chore???
Or How long does it take to become a bore???
(Please!!!  Do Not Say It ......)

I guess that is all down to me....

I will be watching and learning.... trying to enhance my site....
But in the meantime, you will have to be patient with me...

Here is my first "Official" creation....

I still need to build up my stock of ribbons and card...
And buy some glitter and sparkles....

But all in good time....

I don't want to go bankrupt before I even start...

My Little Secret

Morning All
Not much from me today...

I am still stocking up..
I am still practicing my coloring
I am still getting tutts from the hubby....

When asked:  How much more do you need?!?
I say:  Oh I am just about there love...
He Says:  Good! I think you have enough to get you started
I say to myself:  Aaaarrhhh....... Hurry up ULTIMATE PRO

Now being the experts that you are.....

Wedding Weekend

Just a little update from me....
This weekend sees the start of a new life for my beautiful daughter Emma....
The Bride to Be will be 'The Bride' on Saturday ...
WOW!
How time flies...

So...

Amongst all the Anarchy we have been witnessing this week
There will be a ray of sunshine in my life...

I cannot wait to build up my crafty collection....
My practice sessions have been frequent ...
My patience is growing....
My scribbles are reducing...

Can someone explain to me the difference between Copics and Speccies...?
Do you use a mix of inks or do you tend to stick to one brand?

I only have a few more bits n pieces to buy now before I can really start...
I love the lace theme this week, but I am not ready .....

I look forward to the updates and I absolutely adore the cards that have been submitted.....

Converstion of the day...........................

Hubby - "WHAT ARE YOUR DOING?"

Me - "Erm...Colouring!"

Hubby - "YOU'RE TAKING A LONG TIME!"

Me to Me - "Erm..You ain't seen nothing yet mate!"

IT'S A NEW DAY! - OR IS IT?

Well...
Here I am again...
Collected my lovely pens from the Sorting Office!!!! - Ha ha...
I forgot to put my new address on the Deliver To!....
That explains a few things...

I bought my scissors.....
I got them home.....
I started cutting.....

Duurhhh..... Again!!

They were not straight!
As nice as they are though....
They are not straight
Nor are they practical for the beginner

So now what?

A couple of hours later..
After a few strops and bin bag full ....
It suddenly dawned on me -

I have no Yellows!
I have no Greens!
I have no Patience!

I need to watch a few demos to get the hang of this...
I will be out of ink before I have even started. 

Did anyone else suffer as I am suffering now?

In the end..... 

I have One Eye and nothing else to show for it...

I tried to download the Freebies.... and the electric went off!

Come on Lady Luck..........

NEW GIRL ON THE BLOCK

Well.....
This year sees some dramatic changes in my life...
My daughter is getting married....
My grand-daughter is starting school....
My son is starting University.....
My husband and I have moved to the countryside.....
I am still studying TWO different subjects.....
I NEED SOME ME TIME!

So...Why Crafters Companion?

Well.....Marcea’s Crafting Corner... and  ... Spectrum Noir demo...a real WOW for me
The Pens!
I can’t begin to tell you....
So impressive I ordered them...
Haven’t received them yet......
So What next?

What else is stopping me from posting my first few efforts?
Let me tell you...

I ordered the pens..
But, with no paper, no scissors, no templates, no stamps – I hadn’t even given those vital items a thought!

Duurhh......HELP!

I look at Crafters Companion and I am spoilt for choice! 
Where to start...? 
It is like being in a candy store...

I need a starter pack...a MUST have starter’s list...
